Parking is the first decision of a ski day at Winter Park, and on a Saturday in February it decides what kind of day you have. Here is every option the resort offers, what each costs, and how to choose.
All prices and dates below are from Winter Park Resort's parking page for the 2025–26 season. The resort typically confirms the next season's rates in the fall, so check before you go.

A few details that matter more than they look:
- The garage is free after 3pm and stays free until 6:59am the next morning. For an afternoon session or dinner in the Village, it is the best lot on the mountain.
- The Vintage Lot depends on the Cabriolet. In 2025–26 the Cabriolet ran 7:45am to 5:30pm daily, with extended hours over the holidays.
- The Old Town shuttle does not run every day. In 2025–26 it ran on weekends and holidays from November 15 to April 19, 7:40am to 5:30pm, plus daily over the Christmas and New Year period. On a midweek day, those lots mean walking or taking the town bus.
- Mary Jane has its own lots at its base. Check their status on the resort's parking page the morning you go.
- No overnight parking in the resort's day lots unless you are a lodging guest.
Weekends and powder days
The free lots are free because they are further out, and on busy days the closer options go first. The honest advice for a Saturday, a holiday or the morning after a storm is simple: be parked before the lifts open, or budget for the garage.
The cost of arriving late is not just the parking fee. It is a longer walk in ski boots carrying skis, a shuttle queue, and the first hour of fresh snow spent getting to the snow.
Not driving at all
Two ways to skip the lot entirely:
- The Lift, the free local bus, runs year-round between Winter Park Resort, downtown Winter Park, Fraser and Granby. In winter its routes run from 7:30am to midnight, with buses every 30 to 60 minutes (The Lift).

Reserved parking: your options
The resort's public lots are first come, first served, so a guaranteed space has to come from somewhere else.
The Reserve Pass with Parking. Launched by the resort in October 2025, it paired priority lift access with a reserved, covered space in the Village Parking Garage for $2,499 per person. In September 2026 the resort listed it as off sale. What the Reserve Pass includes, and the alternatives.
A private club space. The U9200 Alpine Club has 30 reserved parking spaces for its 30 memberships: one per member, at the Corridor trail between Winter Park and Mary Jane. The spaces are uncovered. Day passes include guaranteed slope-side parking too, priced per car:

What a season of parking costs
At the 2025–26 weekend garage rate, the arithmetic is quick:
